The World of 'Opinions'

It amazes me how every opinion out there on social media has got a counter attack in the form of an opinion again! Being an active user it scares the shit out of me that everyone just needs an opportunity to mock at each other.‘Trolls’ as what we call them has been overrated, overfed and has injected so much delusion in our mind that anyone in a good state of mind is considered insane. Opinion need not be vocal always specially when that it is 'hatred' or a ‘strong dislike’. Why do people always have that invincible desire to pen down their dislike? Don't like it!?! Move on leaving it behind. But why is it so much necessary to justify your dislike to the world out there. Dislike is liked again and that dislike has numerous other opinions thus forming a chain of banters which are unapologetic, ruthless and are brutally hurtful. As they say no bond is stronger than two people who hate the same person! When Swara came out with her point of view on Padmavat, there was a debate for and against it. Celebrities were questioned about her point of view, media did an autopsy on her statement and what not! In the first case, if she did not like the concept or the movie it is exactly her point of view. But was it really necessary to pen down those words cryptically about feeling like vagina which led so much turbulence!?! As celebrities there is a responsibility towards society to influence common man in a positive way and spread love. But they are doing exactly opposite by provoking the inner demons and creating so called fan wars. The so called ‘Right to have an opinion’ is falsely demonstrated and widely accepted to the core of its vulnerability. May be that's the way people seek attention or vent out their agitation suppressed for long time. The angst, jealousy and bitterness are rooted so deep that we are blind to see love, hope and happiness around us. Blame on people who consume and give so much details of their day to day activity online just to make others feel that their life is meaningless. When a picture depicts so much happiness(which may not be real) or stunning locations or fancy things it is bound to attract both likes and dislikes(may be hatred). Likes for believing that how exciting their life is and dislikes for not having such a life. Judging and opinionated comes naturally for us. So why is that so much necessary to give our moments of life to the social platform? May be people’s acknowledgement and admiration are soul satisfaction. But this in turn is creating havoc and bruising someone’s life.

Social media as it stands for, is to socialise with people and to bring them together from different parts. So sharing is absolutely necessary! Sharing happiness increases our happiness, sharing sorrows liberates our soul, sharing hatred spreads negativity. Too much of anything is good for nothing. Then How much is too much? Too much is the limit we define. Of course you cannot stop it if you don't want to stop it. The best way to learn is to go beyond and set your own rules. Rules for not to offend, rules for not to hurt and rules for living in the moment not in the post/picture.
